HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's opposition said on Sunday that 10 of its members had been killed by supporters of President Robert Mugabe's ruling ZANU-PF party since disputed elections held three weeks ago.

"I can confirm that 10 of our members have died, four of them in the last few days, due to political violence perpetrated by ruling party supporters in the aftermath of the elections," said Nelson Chamisa, spokesman for the Movement for Democratic Change.

He gave the names of four people he said had been killed, but said other names were not immediately available.

Police spokesman Wayne Bvudzijena confirmed one death, but said police were still investigating the circumstances.
