HARARE, April 11 (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe will not attend a regional summit on Saturday to discuss the country's election stalemate, state radio reported.
Earlier this week officials had said Mugabe was expected to attend the Lusaka summit on Saturday of the 14-nation Southern African Development Community.
But Deputy Information Minister Bright Matonga said the summit was called without consulting Zimbabwe. SADC leaders are expected to put pressure on Mugabe to release long-delayed election results
