JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's rand climbed against the dollar on Tuesday, after the U.S. Federal Reserve cut its overnight rate, and global stocks pared their losses.
At 1337 GMT, the rand stood at 7.15 to the dollar, about 0.9 percent firmer than its last close of 7.2080. The rand firmed earlier to 7.1150, as investors slowly returned to high-risk assets.
